Care Instructions
Wood Products
Daily Care
- Hand wash with warm, soapy water immediately after use
- Rinse thoroughly and dry completely with a clean lint-free towel
- DO NOT SUBMERGE in water
- Never soak or put in the dishwasher
- Avoid harsh detergents
Maintenance
- Oil monthly with food-grade mineral oil or specialized wood conditioner
- Apply oil when wood appears dry or light-colored
- Allow oil to penetrate for several hours or overnight, then wipe excess
- Well-maintained wood products can last decades
What to Avoid
- Dishwashers, microwaves, or prolonged soaking
- Extreme temperature changes
- Direct sunlight for extended periods
- Cutting citrus directly on the surface (use a barrier)
- Cutting directly on your engraved design. Flip board over and use the unengraved side for serving/cutting.
Marble Products
Daily Care
- Wipe clean with a damp lint-free cloth and mild soap
- Dry immediately to prevent water spots
- DO NOT SUBMERGE in water
- Never soak or put in the dishwasher
- Avoid harsh detergents
Maintenance
- Polish occasionally with marble-specific polish
- Address spills immediately to prevent etching
What to Avoid
- Acidic substances (citrus, wine, vinegar, tomatoes)
- Abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads
- Generic household cleaners
- Dishwashers, microwaves, or prolonged soaking
- Extreme temperature changes
- Direct sunlight for extended periods

Slate Products
Daily Care
- Wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent
- Dry thoroughly to prevent water marks
- Hand wash only
Maintenance
- Apply food-safe slate sealer annually if using for food service
- Store in a dry location to prevent moisture damage
- Handle carefully to avoid chipping edges
What to Avoid

Daily Care

- Rinse thoroughly and air dry or hand dry

Daily Care

- Allow to air dry if wet - never use direct heat
- Rotate use if you have multiple leather items
Deep Cleaning
- Use leather-specific cleaner for stains
- Apply cleaner to a cloth first, then to leather
- Always test cleaning products on an inconspicuous area first
- Allow to dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight
Maintenance
- Condition every 3-6 months with quality leather conditioner
- Apply conditioner sparingly with a soft cloth
- Buff gently after conditioning
- Store in a cool, dry place with good air circulation
