I'm incredibly excited (and honestly, a little bit proud of myself) to share that She Happy Homemaker has been selected to participate in HIIVE Cohort 4!
HIIVE (Hub for Inclusivity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship) is a business growth program designed to help Charlotte-area small businesses build stronger, more sustainable businesses. I'm ready to soak up every bit of knowledge I can get because I guess I'm an actual business woman now!
This opportunity comes at a really important time for my business. I've spent the last few years figuring out what I love to make, who I love making it for, and how to turn my creative little woodworking business into something that can actually grow beyond me doing a million things at once. It's time for the next chapter.
Over the course of this cohort, I'll be working on things like: building better systems, growing sales, strengthening my marketing, expanding B2B and corporate opportunities, and best of all, refining my brand and figuring out where I can make the biggest impact.
Listen, there will be a healthy amount of imposter sydrome involved, I've already begun to experience it, but there has never been a challenge to which I did not rise. I'm a Leo baby, we ain't scared of our own success!
I'm so grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside other Charlotte small business owners and to have people in my corner who understand what it actually takes to build something from the ground up. This is more than just a group of folks that meet up and talk business, this is an investment into what my business can become.
Here's to learning, growing, making amazing connections, and hopefully coming out the other side of this with fewer tabs open in my brain!
